Do I need to know how to code?
No. Moroccothon is built around AI tools that let non-coders ship real software. Come with an idea or a business problem.
How much does it cost?
The bootcamp is free. A build-day place is $25, or $10 for students with a .edu address. It is free for anyone who brings a business problem we shortlist.
Who can participate?
Anyone. Builders, business owners, students, and friends of the community are all welcome, across generations.
Do I need a team?
No. You can register solo and form or join a team at the event. Many people come to find teammates.
What will we build?
A working solution for a real MENA-owned business in the US, plus a short plan for how the business would adopt it.
Is it in person or online?
The bootcamp is online. Build day is in person in New York only, with 40 places.
What can I win?
Prizes and potential incubator opportunities, plus recognition from our judges and partners.
What should I bring?
A laptop, a charger, and an idea. We provide the food, the space, and the mentors.
Will there be mentors?
Yes. Experienced builders and operators will be on the floor throughout build day.
